Whitminster Solar Farm Community Fund
The Parish Council manages the Whitminster Solar Farm Community Fund, which is available for local community groups and organisations, in amounts up to £1,000.
This fund was created from a one-time contribution made by the developers of the Whitminster Solar Farm. It is intended to support projects or services that promote or improve the environmental, social, or community wellbeing of Whitminster residents.
What can the fund be used for?
Applications are welcome for goods, services, or initiatives that:
- Benefit the local environment
- Support social inclusion or wellbeing
- Enhance community facilities or services
Examples may include improvements to local green spaces, community events, equipment for clubs or groups, or support for new initiatives.
